The Minish Cap: Big Green Chuchu
People like to complain about Navi or Fi being the most annoying companion in the Legend of Zelda games. Clearly no one remembers Ezlo.
Anecdote afterthought: Ruth stopped playing this game one screen before the final boss and it still bothers me till this day.

Broken Age: Vella
What began as a warm up exercise this morning using a still from Broken Age as reference slowly evolved into practicing different techniques and finally this short animated piece. My main regret was using almost every element from the reference down to composition, color etc and not making it my own.
This scene is at the very beginning after the escape of Mog Chothra and it sticks out the most among the many memorable moments spread across two acts.

Oxenfree: Let's Be Free
Played Oxenfree after a friend recommended it to me purely for the soundtrack. Solid game with multiple endings and overall interesting story. 10/10 would listen to the soundtrack again.

Death Egg Finale
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is considered by most to be the best in the franchise and also happens to be my personal favorite. The climax of the game on the Death Egg is epic. You face off against Metal Sonic's predecessor and then Dr. Eggman's Giant mech. As a kid they were tough as nails to me and probably why they left a lasting impression. There are no rings to collect so taking even one hit means certain death. Anyway, here is Sonic going fast...as he does.
Here is some battle music to add to the ambiance.

Nidhogg: To The Victor...
A fun tribute to a fun game. Always wanted to experiment with the animation feature in Clip Studio Paint, figured this was a good place to start. The simplistic Atari style graphics of Nidhogg made it easier to render the figures. I can definitely see myself doing more simple animations like this in the future.
